Thank you. heart emoticon This year has been crazy hard for me. But you've been there through every, EVERY step of the way. Done for me, what I wouldn't expect any single person to do. I am and always will be grateful to all of this and all of you. I love you Ladoo. Thank you for always driving the dark away.

We live in a time, where kindness is so rare, that when one displays it, it is welcomed with much surprise. To believe that we cannot change our surroundings, is to accept defeat without even trying.

It's as simple as this.

As Ellen would say, 'Be kind to one another'.

Amazon India

I had the lovely opportunity to work on a couple of emailers for Amazon India this festive season, and had a ton of fun working on it!

Here they are! :D Hope you enjoy these as much as I did working on it!

TEDx - Bangalore - All Or Nothing

Had a ton of fun working on this for TEDx Bangalore!

Enjoyed the speakers amidst all the chaos last Sunday!
Thank you so much for having me!

Besides that, here's a little bit about the illustration:
Kindness. Isn't it odd how rare it is these days? Whether it's arguments going overboard on comment sections on the internet, or things of a much grander scale in the world.

Why has it become so hard to be tolerant? To live and let live? To be able to love freely? To be kind? Where are we headed?

My take on all or nothing, is a somewhat utopic image. A world where we can love, support and protect, not just one another, but other forms of life as well. We can try, hope isn't dead. If we do nothing, all may be lost, But if we all come together, nothing is impossible.

Also got some great press from Homegrown and Bangalore Mirror! Thanks so so much for the features, luckily managed to get the paper! :D

Loopers - Topic August: Kick

This months loopers topic is Kick.

This particular loop has been a bit of a personal one to me. I am currently recovering from knee surgery. I had a terrible fall in June and have been trying my hardest to get back some normalcy in my life. And I am finally happy to say that I am able to walk again, somewhat of a mountainous achievement in my eyes.

So here you go, remember to hit the ground running, and feel grateful that you still have your wings.

Check out the other talented people on our loopers group!

HOPANTA - A Rudro Bhandary Film

There are so many stories that are worth recognition. My friend Rudro Bhandary's HOPANTA, is one of them. A story told with a sense of raw innocence, beautiful in it's own simplicity.

Rudro is a fantastic story teller, film maker and a truly wonderful human being, with a simple heart and a passion to bring such stories to the screen. But he's not going to be able to do this without you.
Being an independent film maker isn't a breeze at all, especially when it comes to funds. So why don't we all get together to help him out? Even a small contribution could really boost it's chances. He also has little surprises set aside for your participation.

All you have to do is visit this link:
And contribute an amount suitable to you.

If we all get together to see this come to the screen, what do we achieve?
The chance to save a good story from oblivion.

Here's the trailer:

Mother's day, every day.

A Super Happy Mother's day to my Mommy dearest.

If there's one tradition, that we continue to share even today, is taking a fifteen minute tea break in the evenings. Stop everything else, get the biscuits out, look out of the window, sit cross legged on the bed, sip our tea and talk about everything under the sun.

It started with me requesting for tea, only to be shot down and handed a tumbler of steaming milk. That progressed to Bournvita, then tea with milk, and now to black tea.

Through this little timeline, our conversations too, have grown.
And I cannot help but giggle with gratitude at the treasure trove of memories that we've made, just during tea time alone.

Thanks Ma, for this and all the other wonderful things you've taught me, done for me, given me and sacrificed for me. I celebrate you every day, but this one day, I'd like to share this with the world too.

I love you, you cannot possibly know how much, but I will try my whole life,
in making sure that you do.

Happy Mother's day to all the loving Mothers out there!

Happy Birthday to a gem of a lady!

You thought I'd forgotten didn't you? That I was so busy that I may not have had the time to do something for you? Well though I am busy and I probably have to sleep on my tablet tonight XD, I just had to do this for you!

I love you beyond what you can think possible, you are an inspiration to me every day.
You are one of the strongest, most honest and most genuine people I know. I am more than fortunate to have you as my best friend and even more so as my soul sister.

Thank you for all those times that you've been there, thank you for all those times that you got me, even when no one else understood.

I would do any thing for you Shubee! I love you so so much!

May all of your wishes come true, and may a million doggy farts in chorus, gladden your heart.

Outside our window.

I've been really caught up with tons from the start of this year! So sincere apologies for the late updates!
So this time, the boy and I decided to get down to some canvas painting. It was his first time with acrylics and first time at painting as well.
So I first went about sketching the idea out digitally and then we purchased four square canvases to recreate each quarter from the sketch. We wanted to give it the feeling of looking out of our window.

After about two days of work, we finished it! :D And now it hangs proudly above the couch.

Happy Birthday Hon'! It looks like you could give me a run for my money, so glad you don't do this for a living! XD

Digital sketch ^

the result! :D
